摘要

Abstract

In order to meet the hot-backup function requirement on monopulse secondary surveillance radar from China civil aviation, adopting field programmable gates array (FPGA) and using hardware description language to control erasable programmable logic device (EPLD) , so as to realize the switching unit function of monopulse secondary surveillance radar: if the working channel is malfunction, responding the switching command of the control and monitoring system, and changing the working channel to the other spare channel automatically or manually, so that it can output track data continuously.With the high speed development of FPGA and EPLD, the flexibility and reliahility of the switching unit are also greatly enhanced.
