Discovery Studio software in the analysis of the blood-brain barrier penetrations of active components of traditional Chinese medicines
摘要
Abstract
Blood-brain barrier ( BBB ) is an important barrier for the drugs to enter the brain. The penetration of the active components of traditional Chinese medicine across BBB is closely related to their molecular structures. The software Discovery Studio was used to calculate and analyze the BBB penetration of some components in comparison with the related reports in recent years. It shows a good agreement of the predicted BBB penetrations with the experimental data except for the glycosides.关键词
