摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the function of Th17 cells in immunological pathogenesis of henoch-schonlein purpura (HSP). Methods 55 patients with HSP and 20 age-matched healthy subjectS were recruited. Flow cytometric analysis (FCM) was performed to detect the percentage of Th17 cells subpopulation. Concentrations of related cytokines (IL-17 and IL-6) in peripheral blood were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The frequencies of Th17 were found to be significantly higher in peripheral blood in acute HSP children compared with control group [(1. 91±0. 78) ％ vs (0. 52 ± 0. 24) ％ , (P＜0. 01) ]. The levels of related cytokines IL-17 and IL-6 markedly increased in acute HSP group compared with control [IL-17 : (47. 4±17. 6)pg/ml vs (15. 6± 11. 2) pg/ml;IL-6 : (273. 8± 42. 4) pg/ml vs (228. 7±37- 4)pg/ml, (P＜0. 01) ]. There were positive correlations between IL-17 and IL-6 in HSP children (r=0. 762 ,P＜0. 01)Conclusion The increases of Th17 cell and related cytokines in HSP children which may suggest a potential role for Th17 in the progressions of onset and inflammatory reactions of HSP.关键词
