Abstract
Objective To evaluate the treatment effect of percutaneous fixation for pubic ramus fractures.Methods Ninteen patients ( all cases are unstable fractures ) were treated with closed reduction and percutaneous fixation.Results All fractures were healed with average heal time 3.9 ±0.6 months ( range 3 ～ 5.5 months ) and the follow-up period ranged from 5 to 24 months.No infection, internal fixation loosening, urinary tract injury, or vessel and nerve injury were observed in all cases.Loss of reduction occurred in 2 cases, but fractures were healed after delayed weight beaning treatment.Conclusions Percutaneous fixation is a safe and effective treatment for pubic ramus fractures.Satisfactory reduction, accurate entry point and entry angle are very important in operation.关键词
