摘要

Abstract

The mechanism of TiO2 photocatalytic reaction was described briefly. The ways of improving TiO2 photocatalytic activity including metal ions doping, noble metals surface deposition,nonmetals doping, co-doping, semiconductor coupling, surface photosensitization and external field coupling were introduced emphatically. The application of TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation technology were summarized including oxidation/reduction treatment to pollutants in water, oxidation treatment to volatile organic compounds in air and sterilization. Besides, based on the actual problems on TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation technology it was proposed that the mechanism research of kinetics and thermodynamics of pollutants degradation and the macroscopical reaction kinetics of photocatalytic reactor was its further development.
