Abstract
AIM To investigate the effect of potassium antimonyl tartrate on proliferation and invasion of HS-746T human gastric cancer cells. Methods The proliferation and invasion of potassium antimonyl tartrate on HS-746T were examined by MTT and Transwell. The secretion of VEGF and MMP-9 was examined by ELISA. Results The inhibitory effect of potassium antimonyl tartrate on HS-746T cells was enhanced with the increase of its concentration ( IC50 = 82. 27 μmol/L ). Moreover, potassium antimonyl tartrate notably decreased the secretion of VEGF and MMP-9. Conclusion These results indicated that potassium antimonyl tartrate might be of value in treatment of gastric cancer.关键词
