Abstract
Objective To explore the reasonable public health services manpower costs for implementation of the community health services ( CHS ) appropriate technology so as to provide reference for the government to purchase public health services manpower. Methods According to the CHS appropriate technology standard, a corresponding evaluation system was developed. And the public health services data from July 2009 to March 2010 of Niuhu CHS center were applied to estimate the public health services manpower costs. Results According to the actual amount of work at present, the required public health services manpower per million population was 1. 36 people , and the ideal working condition was 4. 18. Conclusion There is a big gap between the current staffing and the actual needs in CHS centers in China. The public health services need to be effectively implemented , and the government should enlarge the found investment for community health services so as to ensure sufficient manpower to implement the public health services.关键词
