Abstract
Objective To apply pharmacogenomics in clinical rational drug use to provide the basis for clinical individualized medication.Methods Through retrieving literatures, the problems found in clinical practice of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) were summarized, and the development and characteristics of pharmacogenomics were elaborated. Results The gene polymorphism is the most important factor that the medication effects vary from person to person. Through pharmacogenomics studies, realizing the individualized treatment is further extension and enrichment of TDM. Application of pharmacogenomics to clinical rational drug use remedies the shortage of previous individualized medication only according to drug concentration and also finds the answer to the phenomenon of pharmacedynamics can not being explained before, which opens up a new way for clinical personalized medication. Conclusion Future clinical pharmacotherapy model should be oriented with genetic pharmacology and pharmacogenomics, combined with blood drug concentration monitoring, and guide the rational use of particular drugs to patients.关键词
