Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of continuous albumin purification system(CAPS) in the treatment of patients with severe hepatitis B virus in middle and late stage. Methods Twenty-one patients with severe hepatitis were provided with CAPS 58 times basing on conservative therapy, while control group only received conservative therapy. The total survival rate were investigated. Results The level of total scrum bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase, bile acid, nitrogen, creatinine and ammonia were obviously decreased after a single treatment in CAPS group (P ＜ 0.01). The total survival rate was 57.1％ in CAPS group, while 26.3％ in control group. Conclusions CAPS is safe and effective for patients with severe hepatitis in middle and late stage, and obviously improves their in-hospital survival basing on conservative therapy.关键词
