Mechanism of Floor Heave and Control Technology of Roadway Induced by Mining

Abstract
With theoretical analysis, numerical computation, observation through boring, the figure of floor heave of roadway affected by mining is analyzed, finding the mechanism of floor heave is that the shallow strata are likely to heave whereas the deep strata are likely to sink down.Meanwhile, the law of displacements of different depths for strata is discussed, with conclusion“two dots and three areas” in floor:zero displacement dot and zero strain dot.On the basis of this, the floor can be divided into three areas: tensional strain rising area, tensional strain sinking areas, and compressive strain sinking areas.Furthermore, the effect of floor surrounding rock and horizontal stress on floor heave features is discussed.Then some research views have been proposed to control the floor heave of roadway affected by mining which we should support the broken floor in order to increase the intensity after peak and residual intensity, improve the floor surrounding rock hy supporting, reduce the size of floor without supporting, control the effect of horizontal stress on floor heave.Finally, the control technology is discussed:l) We should reduce the surrounding rock stress by optimizing the roadway location;2) It is essential to support floor by hydraulic expansion bolt anchored through the range of it’s length.And these control methods have been applied to a typical coal wedge roadway affected by mining.Field observations show that the control technology is very effective.关键词
