摘要

Abstract

Traffic guiding is very important in Intelligent Traffic System. The urban traffic guiding system model with high brightness LED road light as a transmitter and PIN detectors as the receiver is proposed. Due to their large modulation bandwidth,LEDs are not only used as lighting devices, but also as transmitters for communication system. In this paper, a four-lane framework is outlined. The relations between bending angle and incidence angle and the high of LED road light are designed in 200m communication distance where the traffic information can be carried out. The theoretical analysis and experiment results verified that the LED traffic voice guiding system is possible and satisfied to communicate, when the bending angle and the semi-angle at half-power of LED lights α=15° and θ 1/2=60°, respectively, and the incidence angle of PIN detectors Φc=30° .
