Abstract
Objective To investigate the treatment of left colon resection and anastomosis of acute intestinal obstruction. Methods A retrospective analysis of the data was done in our hospital from January 2005 to October 2010. 36 patients with acute intestinal obstruction caused by left colon cancer were treated by resection and anastomosis. Results The patients had no anastomotic leakage, no abdominal complications such as infection. Incision wound infection and liquefaction occurred in 7 cases and pulmonary infection in 2 cases, and no perioperative deaths was found. Conclusion The resection and anastomosis in treatment of acute intestinal obstruction caused by left colonic carcinoma is feasible when we pay attention to strictly surgical indications, understanding of acute intestinal obstruction caused by colon cancer, the right surgery time, effective intraoperative intestinal decompression, the right technology and make consistent perioperative treatment.关键词
