Abstract
A novel UWB printed antenna is proposed by modified the rectangular patch antenna. The proposed antenna consiat of an octagonal patch and a ground plate with notche structure, which improved the antenna's impedance matching. Experimental results show that The voltage standing wave ratio is less than 2 in the band of 3 CH2 - 11 CH2, which cover the work band requested by the UWB antennas. The antenna has a good omni-directional radiation characteristic in the H plane, which can be a good choice for indoar short distance UWB communication systems.关键词
