Short-term Effects of Violent Video Games on Implicit Aggression in Different Aged Female Students
摘要
Abstract
Objective: To explore the short-term effects on implicit aggression in different aged female students.Methods: Based on a 2×2 between subjects designed experiment, with a sample of 119 female students(Including 62 high school students between 14 and 18 years of age, 57 college students between 19 and 22), IAT was used to measure the implicit aggression. Results: ①Implicit aggressiveness would be increased if exposed to violent video games for a short time. ②There was a significant interaction between the ages of different female students and games:Exposure to violent video games for a short time had no significant influence on implicit aggression of female students in middle school, but increased implicit aggressiveness of female undergraduate students. Conclusion: Violent video games have different influence on implicit aggression of different aged female students.关键词
