Abstract
Objective: To study the surgical results and clinical experience of elderly patients undergoing cardiac valve surgery combined with coronary artery bypass grafting. Methods: From May 2005 to March 2010, a total of 65 elderly patients with heart valve surgery were admitted for receiving coronary artery bypass grafting. Among them, 52 patients were male and 13 were females, the mean age were 68. 1 ± 3. 2 years. There were 31 cases with heart valve disease and coronary artery disease, coronary heart disease with cardiac valve insufficiency in 34 cases. Earlier implementation of coronary artery bypass grafting combined valvuloplasty in 17 cases, the merger of 48 patients undergoing cardiac valve replacement, which combined with a valve graft replacement (Bentall procedure) in 3 cases. Re-thoracotomy to stop bleeding in 3 cases. A total of 57 patients achieved good clinical results, their cardiac function was improved. A total of 48 cases were followed up after surgery, 9 patients lost to follow up from 1 to 67 months, average follow-up time were 32. 2 months. Two patients died during follow-up, both non-cardiac death. The remaining patients quality of life improved significantly. Conclusions: Elderly patients with heart valve surgery over the same period and purposes of coronary artery bypass grafting is safe and effective, recent results are satisfactory.关键词
