Abstract
A novel nonlinear output feedback control theory for a general class of multi-input-multi-output nonlinear systems was introduced, and an improvement was presented that extended its application. Based on the improved theory, this paper designed a novel nonlinear output feedback excitation controller for single machine infinite bus power systems, where rotor speed, generator voltage and current were adopted as the feedback signals, and the observable domain was derived for the first time. The controller doesn't need the signal of rotor angle, thus is more practical than the existing nonlinear state feedback excitation controllers. Finally a test case was conducted by PSCAD/EMTDC to verify its capability of restraining disturbances.关键词
