摘要

Abstract

Conventional Harris corner detector is a desirable detector in terms of detection and repeatability rate,but it can not satisfy the demands of the real-time applications.MIC corner detector requires small computation time, however it responds too readily to certain diagonal edges.For this reason, the paper proposes a new corner detection algorithm.The new corner detection algorithm adopts multigrid algorithm,uses minimum of the intensity change of the four principle directions as the result of the preprocessing,and uses the autocorrelation matrix to get the corner response function.The experimental results indicate that the new algorithm improves Harris and MIC algorithm, can eliminate edge response and texture corners and satisfy the demands of real-time applications.
