Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the effects of propofol TCI in geriatric patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). [ Methods ] 60 patients of elective LC surgery were randomly divided into observer group and control group. The observation group was given anesthesia of continuous target controlled infusion, the control group was given anesthesia of isoflurane. The quality of anesthesia awakening was evaluated 30 min after surgery, the cognitive function was evaluated by MMSE, WMS and WAIS within preoperative first day and postoperative seventh day, and the incidence rate of postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) was calculated. Before induction of anesthesia 10 min (T0), after establishing pneumoperitoneum 15min (T1), immediately after extubation (T2) and after extubation 30 min (T3), the serum interleukin -6 (IL-6) levels of the two groups were detected. [ Results ] The quality of anesthesia awakening of the observation group was better than the control group, compared the difference was significant (P ＜0.05); The serum IL-6 levels of the observation group increased significantly At the T1 and T2 (P ＜0.05), and the serum IL-6 levels of T3 compared with T0 the difference was no significant (P ＜0.05). The serum IL-6 levels of the control group was higher than that the induction of anesthesia and observation group at T1, T2 and T3, compared the difference was significant (P ＜0.05). The incidence of POCD of the observation group was 13.3％,the control group was 36.7％, compared the difference was significant (P ＜0.05). [ Conclusion ] The propofol TCI can inhibit the postoperative release of IL-6 and inflammation, reduce the incidence of POCD and improve the quality of anesthesia awakening in geriatric patients undergoing LC.关键词
