Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of hemoperfusion and hemodiafiltration on clearing the serum leptin and parathyroid hormone(PTH) in the patients. Methods Forty MH patients were divided randomly into groups A and B, 20 each: group A on hemodialysis(HD) and groups B on hemoperfusion and hemodiafiltration . Serum leptin and parathyroid hormone were detected in the two groups before and after treatment, and methods after 4 weeks. The results were obtained to analyze the correlation between the indexes. Results There were no significant differencs in leptin and parathyroid hormone in group A between before and after treatment ( P ＞ 0.05 ); leptin and parathyroid hormone level decreased remarkably in groups B, compared between before and after the first time of treatment, and between the first time of treatment and the last time of treatment(P ＜ 0.05). The levels of cleanrance for serum leptin and serum parathyroid hormone in groups B were significantly higher than those in groups A( P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusion Hemoperfusion effectively clears leptin and PTH,while hemodialysis does not.关键词
