摘要

Abstract

The adsorption capability of chitosan( CS ) to reactive black RL was investigated. Under the conditions of adsorption temperature 298 K, CS relative molecular weight 1. 75 × 105 and CS dosage 102 mg/L , the adsorption capacity of CS to reactive black RL is 146. 23 mg/g. The adsorption process accords with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and the adsorption equilibrium data accord with Freundlich equation. The effect of temperature on adsorption rate accords with Arrhenius equation, and the activation energy of adsorption is 70. 4 kJ/mol. It indicates that the adsorption of reactive black RL on CS is a chemical process primarily.
