摘要

Abstract

The research progresses in the modification of heavy metal adsorbent kaolinite are reviewed. The effects of the abio-modification processes ( such as inorganic acid activation, transition metal modification, metal oxide modification and inorganic salt modification and so on ) on the improvement of kaolinite structure, character and adsorption capability are introduced, and the abiomodified kaolinite are compared with the montmorillonite simultaneously modified by the same method. According to the shortcomings in the modification process and the requirements for its application, the problems in future research are discussed.
