Abstract
Objective： To study the alteration of urinary transforming growth factor (TGF) -β1, α1-microglobulin (MG) and retinol binding proteince ( RBP) in patients with diabetic nephropathy ( DN ).Methods: TGF -β1, α1-MG and RBP level in urine were measured in 65 cases of type 2 diabetic patients which were divided into 3 groups according to urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER) and compared with 23 cases of healthy adults.Results： The levels of urinary TGF -β1, α1-MG and RBP of patients with DN were higher than those of the control group.A positive correlation was found between urinary TGF -β1, α1-MG, RBP and UAER (r =0.73, 0.62, 0.85, P ＜0.01).Conclusions: Urinary TGF -β1, α1-MG and RBP are valuable for the incipient diagnosis of DN and related to the severity of nephropathy and survival of diabetic patients.关键词
