摘要

Abstract

A multi-level image enhancement algorithm based on the fuzzy logic theory is proposed in this paper. The algorithm performs the enhancement processing for each fuzzy subset based on the protection of images' main grain features to implement its function of multilevel enhancement, thus the contrast between different grey scale areas is improved. The algorithm was compared with the classical methods by experiment and the results showned its good ability to improve image quality by raising the image contrast, especially in the medical image processing.
