摘要

Abstract

Effect of Ni loading amount and reaction temperature on catalytic cracking of tar was investigated over a nickel base catalyst of palygorskite clay (Ni/PG) that was prepared by the wetness method. The morphology, phase and carbon deposition of catalysts were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and total carbon analysis, respectively. The results show that the tar removal and hydrogen yield can be improved at a great Ni loading amount. In addition, the tar removal and hydrogen yield could be enhanced at a high reaction temperature, and the Ni loading over the Ni/PG catalyst exhibits a superior capacity of resistance to the carbon deposition.
