Abstract
Objective To investigate the curative effect of nasal endoscopy low - temperature plasma radiofrequency on adenoid hypertrophy and its precautions.Methods The clinical data of 23 adenoid hypertrophy patients receiving treatments in our hospital from June 2008 to July 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.All patients received nasal endoscope low - temperature radiofrequency ablation in local anesthesia.Results All patients completed treatments on one round, with blood loss of 1 ～ 4 ml, postoperative wound forming albuginea not needing special treatment, and were given conventional intravenous antibiotics to prevent infection.Follow - up lasted 3 ～ 13 months, bleeding and other adverse reactions were not noted.Seven patients had small amount of residues and were not treated because no discomforts or primary disease occurred.The original symptoms were relieved in different degree or disappeared.Conclusion For older children, nasal endoscope low - temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in local anesthesia is easy to operate, minimally invasive, less painful, inexpensive, which is adapt to primary hospitals.关键词
