Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of combined phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation( phaco + IOL ) and pterygium resection( PR ).Methods Combined phaco + IOL and PR procedures performed in our hospital from the January of 2008 to the January of 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.Results Ninety-two cases with age related cataract and different extent pterygium were successfully performed combined surgery.the corneal surfaces and the incisions of corneas were cured well.All the cases were recovered satified, the postoperative visual acuity over 0.3 were in eighty-six cases.The rate of cast off illiteracy were one hundred percent.Conclusion Phacoemulsificatiom and intraocular lens implantation combined with pterygium resection is safe and effective in fundamental unit and it is easy to operate.关键词
