Abstract

As the application of flyback high-frequency link inverter is increasingly expanded in the field of low power, it is necessary to work out how to efficiently design its core component, flyhack high frequency transformer. In combination with the Ap method and empirical formula of the current density, the way to determine the Ap value of a transformer is improved. The complex procedures of the high frequency transformer design are revealed with detailed examples and specific steps. The designed prototype was tested in a 250 VA flyback high frequency link inverter to verify the design effect. The test results show that the transformer works well and the design method is feasible.
