Fractional photothermolysis for treatment of atrophic facial acne scars

摘要

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficiency of fractional photothermolysis technology in the treatment of atrophic facial acne scars.Methods Fifty - four patients with mild to severe atrophic acne scars received the 2940 nm Er: YAG Pixel laser with a spot size 7 mm × 7 mm or 9 mm × 9 mm a pulse energy of 1200 - 1400 mJ/P.They were treated four to six times at an interval of 4 weeks.The efficiency and the side response of the therapy were evaluated 3 months after the treatment.B.Dreno's ECCA scoring scale was used to score the acne scar before and after treatment and to compare these data.Results After treatment, ECCA scores decreased by 52.12%.There was significant difference in ECCA before and after treatment ( P < 0.01).There was no side response , such as hypo - or hyperpigmentation and scar formation during the treatment.Conculsions Fractional photothermolysis technology is an effective treatment of face atrophic facial acne scars.
