摘要

Abstract

The stability of jointed rock slope largely depends on the strength and distribution form of joint. For jointed slope failure has the characteristics of large deformation and discreteness, discrete element method becomes one of the most effective methods to research the failure mechanism of jointed rock slope. Through numerical simulation on rock using discrete element software PFC2D, the model of densely jointed rock slope is established and the influence of rock connectivity rate on slope failure mode is discussed. The result shows that for densely jointed rock slope, the stability is worse if connectivity rate is higher. With the reduction of connectivity rate, large-size landscape is transferred to partial collapse.
