Multiresolution Representation of B-spline Curves with Approximate Preservation of Constrains
摘要
Abstract
A approach for multiresolution representation of nonuniform B-spline curves with approximate preservation of geometric constraints is proposed based on biothogonal nonuniform B-spline wavelets. Aimed at the problem of the preservation of geometric constraints in the wavelet decomposition to curves, two steps are utilized: firstly selective deletion of knot vectors, secondly control the changes in those associated with constrains part of the energy functional. Several examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.关键词
