Abstract
Objective:To compare the short-effects of laparoscopic-assisted with open radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer. Methods :The clinical data of 21 cases of laparoscopic-assisted surgery ( LG group) and 66 open surgery ( OG group) for gastric cancer from 2005 to 2010 were analyzed retrospectively. Clinical parameters included the degree and time of the pain,blood loss ,time for passage of flatus,fluid and semiliquid food intake,hospital stay and postoperative complications. Results:There was no significant difference between two groups in term of demographic data, bionomics and the location of the tumor. The mean blood loss, time for passage offlatus ,liquid and semiliquid food intake and hospital stay in LG group were significantly less than OG group. Conclusions:Laparoscopic-assisted surgery for gastric cancer is relatively safe and effective with superior short term outcome to open surgery.关键词
