摘要

Abstract

Experiments were carried out to study electro-hydrodynamics (EHD) enhancement for saturated flow boiling heat transfer in micro-channels with cross-section of 2 mm×2 mm using deionized water as the working fluid.In the boiling section of the channels with different voltages, the relation between heat flux and averaged wall superheat temperature was studied.The influences of the electrified on the boiling heat transfer coefficient were analyzed as well.The results show that electric field with high voltage can enhance saturated boiling heat transfer in micro-channels, and it lays a foundation for exploring the mechanism of EHD enhancement for saturated boiling heat transfer in micro-channels.
