大尺寸KDP晶体切削开裂效应数值模拟分析研究
Research on Cutting Effects of the Large-size KDP Crystal by Numerical Simulation Method

Abstract
Cracks may occur in the large-size KDP (KH2PO4 ) crystals during cutting process.To investigate the mechanical mechanism of cracking in the large-size KDP crystal and find a reasonable cutting method, this paper studies the cutting effects of large-size KDP crystals.The contact stresses and thermal stresses between the blade and crystal are the main factors to induce the cracks, thus the thermomechanical coupled numerical simulations were carried out by the finite element method.The simulation results demonstrate that the pressure between the KDP crystal and blade should limited in 4.1MPa and the range of temperature difference should be limited in 4.2 ℃.This paper also obtains the security range of the cutting parameters (the propulsion and linear velocity ).This study has very important significance to prevent cracks in large-size KDP crystals during cutting process.关键词
