Abstract
Objective : To retrospectively investigate the clinical characters , pathologic kinds , means of diagnosis and treatment and the follow-up information of the Germ-cell tumors (GCT)in children.Methods:There were 20 cases of the Germ-cell tumors in children from 2005.2～2010.1 in Department of Pediatric surgery, the sccond hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, testicular tumors were 6 cases,and ovarian tumors were 14 cases.All patients' medical records, pathologic and follow-up information were analyzed.Results:Twenty cases were operated successfully.Follow-up to now, they are all alive.Among the total, one case was find metastasis in liver and spleen, resection was made again.Chemotherapy was made in 10 cases malignant ovarian All cases were confirmed by pathological examLnation after operation.Conclusion:Clinical symptoms of GCT are not specific in children.The head symptoms are usually abdominal pain and windy; abdominal, pelvic or testicular mass.Clinic stage and histological grade are prognostic factors with significantly statistical differentiation.Completely resection of tumor is main treatment method.Chemotherapy and radiotherapy play an important role in treating malignant tumor.Regular follow-up is very important.关键词
