Abstract
Objective To assess the efficiency of biofeedback and pelvic electric stimulation therapy combined with vaginal cone for female stress urinary incontinence. Methods 48 patients with stress urinary incontinence were divided into two groups randomly, one for the treatment group with electrical stimulation and biofeedback combined with vaginal cone( n = 24), the other for the control group (n = 24). The patients of treatment group were submitted to two 40' weekly sessions for five consecutive weeks, followed with vaginal cone therapy. The cone therapy was done for 15～20 min everyday. The patients of control group were treated without the cone therapy. The effects were tested through 1 h pad test and ICIQ- SF. Results After treatment, there were significant improvement in pad test results and the questionnaire in both groups. The treatment group outweighed the control group after 3 months and 6 months. Conclusion Biofeedback and electric stimulation were effective in the treatment of women with SUI. Vaginal cone therapy could keep the efficiency well.关键词
