摘要

Abstract

Because of the low efficiency and accuracy in measuring the geometric parameters of cigarette tipping paper with an optical projector.A measuring system was designed based on machine vision, which was composed of a test platform and a computer.The test platform was driven by an embedded MCU - controlled step motor, the images of tested samples were collected continuously by a camera, the tested object was moved by the platform to a benchmark, once paper edge or hole line appeared in the image.The relative position of platform was recorded by an incremental linear encoder and the test results of sample were obtained via operation.The experiment results showed that the measuring system was up to the industry standard for tipping paper test.It measured tipping paper width, hole line width, and the distance between hole line and paper' sedge automatically and accurately.The system' s recognition rate to laser perforated tipping paper is 100% and its measurement accuracy is better than 0.02 mm.
