The relation between equivalent mass of the perforation wide-band transducer and the dimension of the hole

摘要

Abstract

Using the one dimensional design theory and the energy conservation principle, the function of equivalent mass of the wide-band transducer with single hole is derived, and then the relationship between equivalent mass of the transducer and the hole's size is studied. The result shows that the equivalent mass of the transducer is related to hole's size, and the equivalent mass is not monotonously increasing with the size increasing. That is, the equivalent mass decreases with the increasing of the aperture when the depth of the hole is fixed. The equivalent mass decreases firstly and then increases with the increasing of the depth of the hole when the aperture is fixed.
