Abstract
Based on finite element analysis software ANSYS, gravity increase method is used to slope stability analysis of an example; and compared with strength reduction method. The results indicate that the safety factor from the former method is larger. Then the factors affecting computation accuracy, including cohesion,internal friction angle and slope angle, are analyzed. The results show that the accuracy influence by cohesion, internal friction angle and slope angle, with gravity increase method, is higher than that with strength reduction method. So that the results calculated by strength reduction method is more reliable; while gravity increase method has certain limitations.关键词
