一种GLS玻璃中红外光子晶体光纤的双折射和非线性研究
Study on birefringence and nonlinearity of a mid-infrared GLS photonic crystal fiber
摘要
Abstract
A kind of GLS photonic crystal fiber (PCF) with high birefringence and high nonlinearity is designed in this paper. The birefringence and nonlinearity of this fiber are numerical simulated by multipole-method.And the feasibility of fabricating this PCF using the GLS glass is analyzed.It is found that the wavelength corresponding to max birefringence can be shified to the midinfrared band by adjusting the parameters of the PCF.For this PCF, the birefringence of is up to 0.16 and the nonlinear coefficient of x-polarized mode is 0.15 m-1 · W-1 at wavelength of 8.214 μm.It expands the laser source in mid-infrared band by the PCF.关键词
