Abstract
Objective To investigate the knowledge on asthma prevention and control in nurses at departments of pediatrics and the respirology in Qingdao. Methods Questionnaires were distributed among 193 nurses at departments of pediatrics and respirology of five grade-3 hospitals in Qingdao, of whom, 141 were nurses with primary title, and 52 with intermediate title.The data obtained were analyzed and compared. Results Obvious differences between the different-title nurses on basic knowledge and treatment of asthma, pharmacological functions of drugs, value of using peak flow meter, MDt and spacer were significant (x2 =6.20-40.44,P＜0.05). Conclusion It is imperative to strengthen the expertise training for nurses with primary title on asthma prevention and control.关键词
