摘要

Abstract

[Objective] The adsorption of the the orange peel,improved by means of citric acid and sodium hydroxide,to heavy metal:Cr6+ in wastewater,was studied. [ Method] The effect of the pH value and initial concentration of solution,the dosage of adsorbent,sorption time and temperature on the adsorption was experimented and the adsorption efficiency of two kinds of orange peel modified by acid and alkali was compared. [ Results ] The orange peel modified by acid had a good effect on the adsorption of Cr6+ and under the condition of the pH value of around 1.0, the initial concentration of Cr6+ in the solution of 5.0 mg/L, the dosage of adsorbent of O.6 g,the sorption temperature of 50 ℃, the sorption time for 80 minutes,the adsorption rate of the modified orange peel to Cr6+ reached 96.52%. [ Conclusion] The chemical modification improved the adsorption capacity of orange peel to Cr6+ , which had a high application value in the treatment of wastewater,
