摘要

Abstract

A new method of designing LCD driver based on DSP and CPLD is introduced. Aiming at the issue of timing mismatch in the communication between DSP and LCD. a reasonable solution is proposed by using CPLD. For this solution the basic hardware interface circuit and part of the program on the DSP and CPLD is given, and the logic timing is also analysed. By using CPLD as a bridge between high-speed processor and low-speed peripherals the effects low-speed peripherals to high-speed processor is reduced effectively and high-speed, large amount of data transmission is realized. This method has been success in the practical applications.
