P120 Protein and Its Cellular Function
摘要
Abstract
P120-catenin belongs to the Amadillo protein family. It is generally localized in the cell membrane, mediating cell-cell adhesion via cadherins. Ectopic expression of P120 in the cytoplasm and nucleus is closely associated with cell proliferation, inflammatory responses and caminogenesis. In this review, the structure and isoforms of P120, and its cellular localization and associated different functions of P120 are introduced. Furthermore, molecular and biological functions of cellular P120 are elucidated to provide the novel target for clinical treatment.关键词
