Abstract
In contrast with the other parts of our country, the paper is to calculate the relative carrying capacity of natural and economic resources and comprehensive carrying capacity in the cities and downtown area under the jurisdiction of Qingdao City from 2005 to 2008 based on the ideas and methods of relative carrying capacity of resources.The analytical results indicate that: in terms of the relative carrying capacity of natural resources, Pingdu city is in a state of plenty, Laixi city is at a critical point, the cities of Jiaozhou, Jimo city and Jiaonan are in a state of overload while the downtown area of Qingdao City is in a serious overload state.The order of the relative carrying capacity of resources of the following cities and area is as follows( from plenty to overload): Pingdu ＞ Laixi ＞ Jiaozhou ＞ Jiaonan ＞ Jimo ＞ downtown area; in terms of the economic carrying capacity, all the 5 cities have been in a state of plenty while the downtown area has reached the maximum.The order of the economic carrying capacity ( from plenty to overload ) is: downtown area ＞ Jiaozhou ＞ Jiaonan ＞ Jimo ＞ Laixi ＞ Pingdu; in terms of the comprehensive carrying capacity, all the 6 cities and area have been in a state of plenty and basic stability.The order of the comprehensive carrying capacity ( from big to small) is: downtown area ＞ Pingdu ＞ Jimo ＞ Jiaozhou ＞ Jiaonan ＞ Laixi.Based on the investigation above, the paper is to divide the cities and downtown area of Qingdao City from 2005 to 2008 into different main functional regions, and the results show that all the 6 cities and area of Qingdao City belong to the optimizing development zones, and the industrial adjustment and optimization are still the most important issue in the regional sustainable development in the period of 12th 5-Year Plan.关键词
