新疆杨树用材林固碳能力分析
Study on Carbon Sequestration Capacity of Timber Production Plantation of Populus spp.in Xinjiang

Abstract
The carbon sequestration capacity of the timber production plantation of Populous spp. in Xinjiang was studied by age groups based on the data of 4th forest resource inventory and by means of the stocking volume methodology. The results showed that the total area of poplar timber production plantation was 7200 hm2 in Xinjiang, with 594 600 m3 of stocking volume. The total volume of carbon storage of the Populous spp. plantation in Xinjiang was 792 495. 93 t. The carbon storage of the pre-mature stands, the middle aged stands and the young stands accounted for 67. 84% . 13. 61% and 18. 55% respectively. Both of the stocking volume and the carbon density per unit area of the pre-mature stands and the post-mature stands were higher than those of the middle-aged stands and the young stands.关键词
