摘要

Abstract

Bundle conductors are widely used in the high voltage direct current (HVDC) power transmission in order to possess a higher line capacity, to optimize the electromagnetic environment, and to narrow down the width of transmission line corridor. By the use of successive image method, the finite element method and formula of BPA and CISPR, the total field, ion current density, audible noise, radio interference, and corona loss of two kinds of conductors ,I. E. , 5×LGJ-1120/50 and 6 X LGJ-900/40 were assessed, respectively. The technical advantages and disadvantages were compared in detail. The results show that both 5×LGJ-1120/50 and 6× LGJ-900/40 can meet the requirements of the electromagnetic environment under the condition that the cross section area of both conduc tors are approximately same. However, it is worth pointing out that the conductor with 5 X LGJ-1120/50 is more competitive than that with 6 X LGJ-900/40 if the investment of the power line is concerned.
