Screening of Strains of Actinomycetes with Antibacterial Activity

Abstract
[ Objective ] The research aimed to screen strains of actinomycetes with antibacterial activity. [ Method ] 300 strains of actinomycetes with antibacterial activity which isolated and stored in Key Lab of Microbial Diversity Research and Application of Hebei Province were screened by filter paper method, using Staphyloccocus aureus, penicillin and eephalosporin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.As the indicators, and the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the positive strains were detected. [ Result ] 111 strains with antibacterial activity were selected, and the rate of inhibition was 37.0%. The amount of strains with inhibit activity for Staphyloccocus aureus, Escherichia coli. and resistant Staphyloccocus aureus was 111,10 and 40, respectively. The minimum inhibitory concentration of the strain was far different from each other, strain 174883 showed the strongest antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, and its fermentation were diluted to 2 048 times still showed antibacterial activity. With penieillinase and cephalosporinase treatment, the antibacterial activity of six strains became weak. The antibacterial activity of strain 32349 and kj0428 were inhibited obviously among all strains. [ Conclusion ] The positive actinomycetes strains screened have good antibacterial activity. This result could provide basis for the soreening of new type antibiotics.关键词
