摘要

Abstract

The flow pattern, temperature, and salinity field in the Pearl River estuary were simulated and analyzed with the hydrodynamic numerical model MIKE 3 using an unstructured mesh. The results indicated that the salinity front would hinder nutrient substance transportation, and the organism had a special distribution pattern around the salinity front,namely, the nutrient substance and the organism formed high concentration zones at both sides of the salinity front, and the substance was not easily transported though the salinity front.
