Abstract
Objective To study the effects of argon plasma coagulation combined with Rabeprazole on Barrett' s esophagus. Methods Totally 181 patients with Barrett' s esophagus diagnosed by endoscope and pathological method were randomized into three groups: group A (n= 56) were treated with Rabeprazole; group B (n= 60) were treated with argon plasma coagulation and group C (n= 65 ) were treated with argon plasma coagulation combined with Rabeprazole. All the patients were rechecked by endoscope and pathological method within 3,6 and 12 months after treatment. Results The follow-up went within 3,6 and 12 month after the first treatment. The total effective rates in group A were 5.4％ ,4.9％ ,3. 1％ respectively; those of group B were 85.0％ ,82.4％ ,85.4％ respectively and those of group C were 90.8％ ,92.5％ ,91.5％ respectively. There were statistical differences between groups(P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Argon plasma coagulation combined with Rabeprazole in the treatment of Barrett' s esophagus is effective and safe and is worth applying and extending in clinics.关键词
