Ultraviolet irradiation tests of some thermal control coatings in vacuum
摘要
Abstract
Inorganic thermal control coatings are widely used on spacecrafts This paper presents our investigation on the opto-thermal properties of some typical thermal control coatings by simulated long-term (exposure over 10,000 ESH) ultraviole;irradiation tests in a self-developed UV-vacuum test facility with some appropriate acceleration factor. In-situ measurement of the changes of solar absorptance before, during and after the exposure shows that the solar absorptance of all samples is degraded following some definite irradiation time. and the "bleaching effect" is validated in the tests The results may provide some guidance for spacecraft thermal control system designs.关键词
